Special campaign for electoral roll enrolment, corrections

Special campaign days for electoral roll enrolment, corrections, and verification will take place at all polling stations in Visakhapatnam district's seven Assembly constituencies on August 22 and 23 under SIR-2026. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present with draft electoral rolls and application forms. Citizens who are 18 years old, or whose names are missing from the draft roll, can apply for enrollment using Form 6 and the required declaration.

Voters can correct errors in their name, address, or other details using Form 8 or shift their registration after moving residence. BLOs will also help verify ASDD, unmapped, and logical discrepancy lists, and guide voters through the required procedures. Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers will monitor the process and assist BLOs.

The public has been encouraged to check their details and submit applications where needed. All comments must be in English, written in full sentences, and not abusive or personal.
