Revanth invites Oxford to offer education programmes in Telangana

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy invited the prestigious University of Oxford to establish education programs and research centers in Telangana, following his visit to London as part of the Telangana Rising delegation. Reddy discussed the State's plans to transform Hyderabad into a global education hub and invited Oxford to collaborate with the region's youth and working professionals.

K. Ramakrishna Rao, Advisor and Ex-officio Special Chief Secretary, CMO, presented opportunities for foreign universities under the National Education Policy, highlighting the benefits of setting up programs and institutions in Hyderabad. Oxford academics expressed interest in collaborating with Telangana, and the delegation invited Oxford representatives to participate in the Telangana Rising Global Summit in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also visited Somerville College and the Utilita Bowl, a major sporting facility, and invited GMR Group to invest in Telangana's sporting infrastructure. The Chief Minister is set to attend an English Premier League match at Emirates Stadium later on Friday.
