EU Pledges Support for Ukraine’s Anti-Graft Efforts Amid New ‘Forrest Gump’ Probe
EU ambassadors met the heads of Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), in Kyiv on Friday, Aug. 21, pledging continued support for the country’s reform efforts. The meeting comes two days after a new corruption probe dubbed “Forrest Gump” targeted Sense Bank.
