She has been involved in various tasks, including typing some of Trump's Truth Social posts. Harp was reportedly among the few aides accompanying Trump on a covert secondary aircraft during a hurried departure from Turkey due to a security threat. The incident drew further attention to her role. Harp's brother, Preston Harp, has spoken about his sister's relationship with Trump, suggesting that her attraction to the president may be linked to her upbringing.

The White House has defended Harp, calling her one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on Trump's team.
