Titus-Glover campaign team members injured in accident near Dambai

In a recent incident near Dambai, the campaign team of former Greater Accra Regional Minister Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover sustained injuries when their vehicle collided with a Toyota Tundra driven by the candidate during their travels. According to a statement released by the campaign's spokesperson and communications director, Ellen Ama Daaku, the accident occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, between noon and 1pm, just minutes from Dambai.

The campaign team consisted of members from the security, operations, and communications departments who were en route to the northern regions to boost the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Executive elections campaign.

The unfortunate crash resulted in substantial damage to both vehicles, with the campaign's operations pickup truck, being driven by the Campaign Manager, colliding with the rear of the candidate's Toyota Tundra. Consequently, the occupants of both vehicles were promptly taken to the Dambai Government Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Ms. Daaku reported that all those involved were treated and discharged, and they are currently in good health. Despite the accident, Ms. Daaku emphasized that the campaign's spirit remains intact, stating that "the morale in the campaign is high" and that the team is "ready for victory" as they approach the NPP National Executive elections scheduled for October 3, 2026.
