They are desperados, content creators’ – Tinubu’s aide knocks opposition

Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu's Special Adviser on Media and Policy Communication, has dismissed Nigeria's opposition as "desperados" and "content creators," incapable of governing effectively. In an interview on Eagle 102.5 FM in Abeokuta, Bwala criticized the opposition for failing to present Nigerians with alternative policies or explain how they would differ from the current administration over the past three years.

He accused opposition politicians of focusing on generating public discussion rather than offering concrete alternatives. Bwala defended Tinubu's relationship with governors from various political parties, highlighting their support for the administration's policies and interventions. He cited governors from Bauchi, Anambra, and Abia states as examples of this support.

Bwala also refuted claims of a one-party state, pointing out that multiple political parties are registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission and participate in elections. He accused opposition figures of lacking political awareness, citing their struggles to explain their parties' ideologies despite producing manifestos.

Bwala concluded by calling for a new generation of politicians with fresh ideas, praising Tinubu's administration for creating opportunities for younger people in leadership positions, and expressed confidence in Tinubu's prospects for a second term.
