Tekcapital’s Vesari appoints satellite expert to advisory board

London - Tekcapital plc, a UK intellectual property investment group, has announced the appointment of Professor Beatriz Soret to the Science Advisory Board of its portfolio company Vesari Inc. The appointment takes effect on September 1, 2026. Vesari is focused on developing technology for a geothermal-powered hyperscale AI compute campus. Tekcapital currently holds a 51% stake in Vesari.

Professor Soret brings over twenty years of experience in satellite communications and low-Earth-orbit networking to the advisory board. Her research expertise encompasses various aspects of LEO satellite networking and inter-satellite links, such as constellation design, distributed routing, and satellite edge computing. Professor Soret has worked closely with the European Space Agency under the ESA SatNex framework and has authored more than 100 publications and holds 17 patents, one of which is partially incorporated into the 3GPP LTE V2X Release 14 specification.

Professor Soret is the latest addition to Vesari's Science Advisory Board, which also includes geothermal scientist Dr. Joseph N. Moore and satellite communications expert Dr. Barry G. Evans. The advisory board is tasked with providing expertise in geothermal energy, hyperscale power utilization, heat management, and low-Earth-orbit satellite laser data transmission for Vesari's platform.
