SEB snur: Lar kunder beholde bonuspoeng

SAS Eurobonus Mastercard holders at Swedish bank SEB received extra bonus points for purchases made in foreign currency in July through a special campaign. However, customers were later informed that these bonus points were awarded incorrectly. SEB Kort announced on Thursday that customers will still retain the bonus points. According to Tomm Fredrik Olsen, head of SEB Kort in Norway, the bank made an error and does not intend for it to affect its customers.

Despite there not being any announcements of a bonus point campaign, Olsen explained that many customers had concluded they were receiving extra points and had been saving up for them. After a review, SEB concluded that customers received more bonus points during the period of July 1st to July 14th than were originally intended.

Olsen emphasized that SEB does not wish to inconvenience its customers and wants them to trust the communication from SEB Kort. The error was discovered on July 14th, and customers were notified about it through the app, according to SEB Kort.
