Santos FC hosts state school visit with Instituto Placar and SEDUC

Santos FC recently welcomed a group of 32 students from Parque dos Sonhos State School for a visit, in collaboration with Instituto Placar and SEDUC. The students, from fifth grade to high school, explored the Club's museum, locker room, and the stadium pitch at Vila Belmiro. Rosana Santana, the school's vice principal, expressed her delight at the visit, noting that it was a first-time experience for many of the children and had a transformative effect on their attitudes and learning.

Márcia Andreia Reis, head of SEDUC's Sports and Culture Department, explained the department's mission to encourage children to utilize cultural facilities, with sport being a key component in fostering discipline, contact, coexistence, rules for living together, kindness, and sociability. Vanessa Miranda, CEO of Instituto Placar, emphasized the significance of the initiative, highlighting their ongoing project to bring children from schools to visit museums, stadiums, and clubs, with Vila Belmiro being the first destination.
