Prince Harry and family moving back to Britain after 6 years in America

Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, along with their two children, are set to return to Britain after residing in California for six years, according to British media reports. The family will be moving into a private residence in London, where Prince Archie, who is 7 years old, and Princess Lilibet, who is 5, are already enrolled in a British school for the autumn term, which begins in two weeks.

This surprise move comes six and a half years after the couple declared their independence from the royal family in early 2020 and relocated to Los Angeles, eventually settling in Montecito, Santa Barbara County. The couple will no longer be active members of the royal family and will be considered private citizens. King Charles, who has cancer, was only made aware of their decision to return to Britain on Sunday, but it is believed that he welcomes the move and the opportunity to spend more private time with the Sussexes, particularly his grandchildren.
