President of Egypt meets Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt convened with His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani in Cairo on Thursday. The Qatari delegation, led by Sheikh Mohammed, was in attendance at the seventh session of the Qatari-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee.

Upon opening the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to President El-Sisi. He also expressed his hopes for the President's well-being and the continued progress and prosperity of the Egyptian people.

In response, President El-Sisi extended similar greetings to Sheikh Mohammed, wishing him continued health and happiness, as well as the prosperity and growth of the Qatari people. The two leaders then engaged in a discussion about the latest regional developments, diplomatic initiatives to ease tensions and bolster security and stability in the region, as well as recent events in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Additionally, President El-Sisi and Prime Minister Al-Thani exchanged perspectives on a variety of regional and international matters of mutual interest.
