Pangai Jnr and Lewis dropped by Hull KR after bans

Hull KR has announced that Tevita Pangai Junior and Mikey Lewis will be dropped for their upcoming match against Toulouse Olympique due to recent bans. Pangai has received a four-game ban, while Lewis faces a two-match suspension following a clash with Warrington Wolves. Both suspensions were handed out by the Match Review Panel on Thursday, though they will not take effect until Round 25 next week.

Despite the bans, Pangai will miss Rovers' remaining regular-season games against Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants, and St Helens, as well as their first play-off match. Lewis, on the other hand, will miss the Wigan and Huddersfield matches. This setback is concerning for the Super League champions, who are currently fifth in the standings, six points behind the top two.

Sam Luckley, however, has avoided a ban for his late tackle, keeping him below the suspension threshold with his one penalty point.
