Ox Alpha

Ox Alpha is a new model developed and operated by an anonymous third-party provider. This stealth model is specifically designed for coding, sustained agentic work, and production workloads. Unlike other models, Ox Alpha's prompts and completions are not used for training, and are instead retained by the provider. The company behind Ox Alpha has chosen to remain anonymous during this preview period.

OpenRouter, a routing service, connects user requests to Ox Alpha, but it is important to note that OpenRouter is not the developer, owner, or provider of the model. If an error occurs in the upstream provider, OpenRouter can recover by routing to another healthy provider, provided that the user's request filters allow it. OpenRouter also provides per-provider uptime data through the Endpoints API, enabling users to monitor the model's availability.

In addition to its functionality, OpenRouter offers load balancing and customization options for users.
