More than 4,000 buildings damaged in Kyiv since Russia’s full-scale invasion — Klitschko

On August 20, Russian forces struck a Fora supermarket warehouse near Kyiv for the second time in recent weeks, causing damage to the facility where fresh produce was being stored, according to the company's Facebook post. Employees were evacuated ahead of the attack and were unharmed. Fora had only recently started using this warehouse after a previous attack on their logistics infrastructure.

Today, the company is rebuilding its routes and searching for solutions to ensure that customers continue receiving their favorite products. This is the second time in a short period that Fora has faced such disruptions, but the company remains committed to its operations. On August 19, Russia launched a significant assault on Kyiv city and oblast, employing numerous ballistic missiles, attack drones, and Kalibr cruise missiles.

The attack resulted in the loss of 15 lives and over 40 injuries in Kyiv, as well as fires breaking out in the capital and surrounding regions. In addition to Kyiv, the cities of Brovary and Boryspil also suffered from Russian strikes. Earlier, on August 5, Russia targeted two Silpo distribution centers in Kyiv, resulting in the death of six employees.

Fora and Thrash! distribution centers were also affected during this attack. Fozzy Group, a holding company operating in various sectors, including retail, e-commerce, agriculture, food production, IT, banking, tourism, medicine, and media, owns the Silpo and Fora supermarket chains, the Thrash! chain, and the Fozzy hypermarket chain.
