Lions' Dan Campbell on Super Bowl Chances: 'Our Window is Not Closed'
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell is confident in his team's Super Bowl odds following a disappointing 2025 season.
The Detroit Lions entered the 2025 season with hopes of reaching the Super Bowl, following a 9-8 regular season record that kept them out of the playoffs last year. However, head coach Dan Campbell remains optimistic about the team's chances in the upcoming season. "Our window is not closed," Campbell emphasized, "It's not closed.
That was the whole reason why we did this." The team's primary focus now is to secure playoff spots and face challenging matchups throughout the season. Campbell acknowledged the risks of relying on a single player or depth issues, but argued that a cohesive unit with the ability to compete every year is more valuable. The Lions will kick off their 2026 regular-season schedule on September 13, facing the New Orleans Saints.
