Legal Trainer Preparation Programme launched

Doha, September 9, 2026 - The Ministry of Justice has unveiled a new Legal Trainer Preparation Programme, designed to cultivate proficient Qatari professionals capable of delivering top-notch legal instruction and cultivating a reliable cadre of certified trainers within the ministry's ranks. Organized by the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, the initiative seeks to establish a robust network of trainers proficient in contemporary, internationally accepted training methodologies.

Eligibility for the programme, which is exclusively open to Qatari nationals, demands a bachelor's degree in law from a recognised university, at least seven years of hands-on legal experience, and a maximum age of 45 upon the programme's conclusion. Applicants must not already be certified trainers through the Centre and must have their candidacy endorsed via an official letter from their employer affirming the latter's support for the participant's full-time involvement in the programme.

Registration is initiated by submitting an official nomination letter, complete with the nominee's contact information and supporting paperwork, to the Centre for Legal and Judicial Studies through the official government communication system. The closing date for nominations is set for September 10, 2026. Seats are limited, with preference given to those who apply earliest.
