The strike at the Samusocial de Paris has come to an end after fifty-seven days of mobilization and “significant progress,” according to the CGT.
The initiative by the staff had been launched to improve wages and working conditions, as well as to raise awareness about the lack of resources allocated to emergency accommodation. Homeless families had come to occupy the forecourt and buildings of the Samusocial headquarters.
