Imigresen Sabah hantar pulang 4,750 pendatang asing

Sabah immigration authorities reported that a total of 4,750 foreign nationals from various countries were deported this year, according to a statement. The highest number of deportations was from the Philippines, with 3,008 individuals, followed by Indonesia (1,478), Pakistan (118), China (109), Vietnam (18), and several other nationalities, which combined make up 19.

The report also mentioned the implementation of a new relocation program that involved the transportation of 144 Indonesian nationals via a commercial ferry.

According to Sabah immigration officials, all Indonesian nationals aged between 3 and 68 years were composed of 107 men, 26 women, 4 male children, and 7 female children. The children were accompanied by their respective parents or guardians. All individuals were picked up from the Immigration Depots in Kota Kinabalu, Papar, and Sandakan after completing their sentences according to the law and possessing a valid Passport Travel Document (SPLP).

Sabah immigration authorities urge all parties to be vigilant regarding the environment within the community, discourage and not support the harboring or employing of unauthorized foreign nationals, and promptly report any suspicious activities related to unauthorized foreign nationals to the official channels.
