Imigresen Sabah hantar pulang 4,750 pendatang asing

Sabah's immigration department has reported that a total of 4,750 foreign nationals from various nationalities were repatriated this year, according to Sabah immigration officials. The Philippines recorded the highest number of repatriated individuals at 3,008, followed by Indonesia with 1,478, Pakistan with 118, China with 109, Vietnam with 18, and a few other nationalities combined for a total of 19.

This figure also includes the implementation of a new relocation program involving the 144 Indonesian nationals (today) through commercial ferry, according to the statement. According to Sabah immigration, all Indonesian nationals aged between 3 and 68 years were composed of 107 males, 26 females, four male children, and seven female children, with the children accompanied by their parents or guardians respectively.

All were transferred from Kota Kinabalu, Papar, and Sandakan immigration depots after completing their sentences as per the legal provisions and holding a valid Passport Travel Document (SPLP). The immigration officials urge all parties to be vigilant towards the surrounding community environment, not to collude in sheltering or employing unauthorized immigrants, and to immediately report any unauthorized immigrant activities to the official channels.
