Harry and Meghan to return to UK after six years in US

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, once known as the duke and duchess of Sussex, are set to return to the United Kingdom after spending over six years in California, according to the Press Association. The couple intends to reside in a non-royal residence outside of London, having already enrolled their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in British schools.

It is believed that there will be no alteration to Harry and Meghan's position as private individuals and non-working members of the royal family. King Charles, who is currently living with cancer, was first informed about their intended move on Sunday, three days prior to the public announcement. Despite this, Charles is reported to be in favor of the family reunion, both in a personal and private capacity.

However, their status remains unchanged, with the couple not being offered an option to "half-in-half-out" regarding their roles. Prince William, who is the future king, is reportedly estranged from his brother following Harry's allegations against the prince, Kate, the King, and Queen Camilla in the aftermath of the 'Megxit' crisis in 2020.
