Farke answers on his own future and more new Leeds signings

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has addressed his future with the club and the team's transfer activities ahead of the new season. Farke, whose contract at Elland Road expires in less than a year, has stated that his own future is not a priority right now. He joked about the recent extensions of contracts for players Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, and Jayden Bogle, emphasizing that there is no money left for the manager.

The focus, according to Farke, lies on the transfer market. The manager expressed satisfaction with the work done so far during the window, adding that they are aiming for the best possible squad. The latest addition to the squad, defender Nico Elvedi, completed his move just before the transfer window closed, and will be available for the upcoming match against Nottingham Forest.

Farke praised Elvedi's impressive CV, noting his 320 Bundesliga games, 15 Champions League games, 75 games for Switzerland, and World Cup quarter-final appearance.
