BYD India unveils SEALION 7 Dynamic: See prices

BYD India unveiled the SEALION 7 Dynamic, a new variant in its premium electric sport utility vehicle lineup, on Thursday. Priced at Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this lower-priced option expands the SEALION 7 range, which now features the Dynamic, Premium, and Performance models.

Powered by a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, the Dynamic variant boasts a range of 520 km on the New European Driving Cycle and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds. The vehicle incorporates BYD's e-platform 3.0, Blade Battery, Cell-to-Body technology, Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof, and a rotating touchscreen infotainment system. It comes in four colors: Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Shark Grey.

Alongside the launch, BYD India introduced a festive offer, "Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD," starting August 1. SEALION 7 Dynamic buyers will receive a free 7 kW home charger, an extended 10-year roadside assistance coverage, and a 10-year or 1.5 lakh km warranty on the LFP low-voltage battery.

Since its 2025 launch in India, the SEALION 7 has sold over 4,000 units, with BYD India serving more than 15,000 customers through 49 showrooms across 40 cities. The company, which entered the Indian market in 2007 with electric buses, operates two factories covering over 140,000 square meters and has invested more than $200 million in the country.
