Jaipur held significance for the actor, as it was where he shot a portion of his first film and where his relationship with Aishwarya Rai began. The team's name, Jaipur Pink Panthers, also holds personal value for Abhishek, as the pink color was his daughter Aaradhya's favorite at the time.

Abhishek mentioned that the Pink Panther name also connects him to his wife's past work, as Aishwarya played the antagonist Sonia in The Pink Panther 2. The actor's connection to Jaipur and Aishwarya extends beyond professional collaborations, as they have appeared together in several films, including Refugee, Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2, Guru, and Sarkar Raj.
