The Ministry of Youth and Childhood is working on an urgent transfer of 500 migrant girls from Ceuta to the mainland, following a massive influx at the end of July. This plan, coordinated with the autonomous city, includes a binding and solidarity decree-let for sheltering by all autonomous communities or family accommodation, as well as other formulas to speed up the reception.

Thousands of migrants are still living outdoors on Playa del Trampolín and other locations in Ceuta while works continue to install and prepare tents to accommodate up to 1,500 people. Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration Elma Saiz is meeting with representatives of the Engloba Association and the Spanish Refugee Aid Commission.

Meanwhile, the President of the People's Party, Alberto Nunez Feijo, is visiting Ceuta for the second time after the mass entry of people from Morocco at the end of July, accompanied by the President of the autonomous city, Juan Jesus Vivas.
