The Pixel Thermometer app icon is finally getting a gradient makeover
A new app icon for the app you either swear by or never use.
Google has discontinued the built-in thermometer feature in the Pixel 11 Pro, marking the end of three generations of the Pixel Thermometer app. Nonetheless, the app has received a fresh icon that retains its original design while adopting a blue thermometer, darker blue mercury, and a white background. The app itself shows no significant changes, which is not surprising given the minor update likely serves to maintain Pixel consistency.
This marks the likely final major update to the Thermometer app, with bug fixes being the primary focus moving forward. Hardware support for the app is anticipated to continue for years. Despite the lack of a Quick Settings Tile for Pixel Thermometer, the Google Health app provides a useful alternative. The latest version of the app, 1.0.947990598, is currently rolling out to users via the Play Store and is set to arrive soon.
