Tanya ketua DAP Selangor, kata Rajiv berkait peruntukan sama rata Adun

Rajiv, the Bukit Gasing seat MP for DAP Selangor, stated that he is not the person to be asked about the possibility of DAP urging the Selangor government to provide equal funding to all its MPs. At a DAP Selangor press conference, Rajiv handed over the question to DAP Selangor President Ng Sze Han, suggesting that it would be more appropriate for Ng to answer whether DAP Selangor would champion such an initiative.

The party's financial secretary emphasized that Rajiv is not the one to be asked about the matter, adding that further questions can be directed to DAP Selangor President Gobind Singh Deo. Civil society group Project Sama had previously urged the state government to implement a formula that mandates equal funding for all MPs, although only Perak and Kelantan have implemented the practice, despite it not being formally institutionalized.

Yesterday, Gobind called on Anwar to provide equal funding for all Members of Parliament and to institutionalize the practice through legislation, promising to push for a bold reform after the DAP's special conference held on Sunday which voted to remain in a united government, with a mandate to take decisive steps to implement the main reform.
