Nashik: Woman Killed, 11 Injured As ST Bus Collides With Truck Near Malegaon

Nashik witnessed a tragic accident on Wednesday morning near Malegaon, when a state transport bus collided with a truck at Gigav Phata on the Malegaon–Chalisgaon Road. The incident resulted in the death of a woman and left 11 other passengers injured. The area was left in disarray as traffic was halted for a significant period. Upon learning about the accident, local residents and police rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance and begin rescue operations.

Preliminary reports suggest that the state transport vehicle was en route to Malegaon from Chalisgaon when it met with the truck near Gigav Phata. It was previously the site of a devastating incident in 2022, where a 407 tempo truck overturned, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to 15 others.
