Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar of Kerala swiftly intervened on Wednesday when he noticed a man named Girish slipping into unconsciousness near the Lok Bhavan, an official reported. The incident unfolded as the Governor was en route to join Onam festivities, having just left his official home via his car, according to a spokesperson for Lok Bhavan.
His staff promptly sprung into action, offering water and washing Girish's face, as soon as they arrived at the scene. Despite reaching out to Girish's family for assistance, they were unable to respond immediately due to their distance from the location. Concerned about Girish's deteriorating health, the Governor directed his team to transport him to a hospital for further evaluation and care, ensuring all necessary arrangements were made.
