Make videos on Bihar government schemes, get Rs 10,000 for 1 lakh views

Social media influencers in Bihar can now earn up to Rs 1 lakh for videos featuring the state's government schemes, according to new amendments approved by the state Cabinet. These rules, which were finalized on Wednesday, grant additional payments of Rs 10,000 for each video generating 1 lakh views within 30 days of posting. The maximum payout for a single video remains capped at Rs 1 lakh.

The Information and Public Relations Department will soon release a detailed notification outlining the new provisions. The amendments also include a provision for regular verification of followers on social media platforms to ensure authenticity. Additionally, Bihar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Taiyo AI India Pvt Ltd to develop an AI ecosystem.

This collaboration will focus on monitoring public infrastructure projects, providing AI-driven early warnings for potential delays and cost overruns, and enhancing digital governance training for officials and students. Furthermore, a 100% exemption from stamp duty and registration fees has been granted for lease documents related to the Kajrara Solar Power Project in Lakhisarai.

The Cabinet also approved funding for various initiatives, such as 11,000 additional private tubewells, a cattle breed-improvement programme, restoration of canal systems, and the establishment of fisheries cooperative bodies.
