Make videos on Bihar government schemes, get Rs 10,000 for 1 lakh views

Through a recent amendment to the Bihar Social Media and Other Online Media Rules, 2026, social media creators who produce content about government schemes in Bihar can now potentially earn up to Rs 1 lakh for each video that garners a million views. This incentive, approved by the state Cabinet led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, comes with a stipulation that the additional payment of Rs 10,000 will be granted after a 30-day waiting period following the video's launch.

The maximum payout for a single video is capped at Rs 1 lakh. The Information and Public Relations Department plans to soon publish a detailed notification outlining the process.
