Joey Votto answers questions about Reds' GM, coaching jobs

Kenny inquired if Votto had any interest in taking on a GM or coaching role with his former team. Votto sarcastically responded that he wasn't interested and expressed gratitude for the confidence shown.

Votto clarified that his passion lies in playing and serving the hitter, which requires time in the minor leagues. When Kenny jokingly asked about the possibility of Votto taking the GM role at the Reds, Votto responded positively, stating he would accept the position. In July, Votto explained during a Sunday Night Baseball broadcast on NBC why he had never visited the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.

Votto also addressed whether he had ever lobbied to play outfield during his debut on NBC Sunday Night Baseball on July 26, mentioning a painful memory from his career.
