Five houses destroyed in fire at wooden community in Bangkok

At the stroke of 1:53 am, the 199 emergency hotline received an urgent report of a house fire located in Soi Ratchadaphisek 7, Yaek 15-4-1, on Ratchadaphisek Road. Firefighters from Huai Khwang Fire and Rescue Station, alongside rescue workers and volunteers from Ruam Katanyu Foundation, swiftly responded to the emergency.

Upon their arrival, officials discovered the flames engulfing the structures, while panicked residents rushed to flee the inferno. Fire engines encountered a challenge in reaching the blaze due to the narrowness of the alley. To overcome this obstacle, firefighters and rescue volunteers had to personally transport firefighting equipment to the scene before deploying water to extinguish the flames and contain the fire's spread. The flames were subdued after approximately 30 minutes.
