Community encouraged to see what Rotary does

The Rotary Club of Boorowa is extending an invitation to members of the community to learn more about what being a Rotarian entails. They have introduced a new Blue/Gold members’ membership program, which invites community-minded individuals willing to assist Rotarians with some of their activities for a period of 12 months.

During this time, Blue Gold members are considered associate members of the Rotary Club of Boorowa. They will have the opportunity to attend meetings, participate in discussions, suggest projects, offer opinions, and engage in all activities of the club. However, they are not eligible to become directors until they become full members of the Rotary Club of Boorowa after the 12-month period.

The Rotary Club of Boorowa’s Sina Banks explained that this new initiative has been created with the aim of encouraging people to join Rotary or other service clubs and allowing them to give it a try before making a full commitment.
