Beijing hargai kenyataan Anwar berhubung prinsip ‘Satu China’

China commended Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his steadfast commitment to the "One China" principle, according to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Lin Jian. The spokesperson stated, "China commends Malaysia PM @anwaribrahim's stance on the Taiwan issue and his firm adherence to the 'One China' principle. There is nothing that can prevent the reunification of China."

The spokesperson's remarks, shared on the Chinese social media platform X on Wednesday, affirmed that the international community's commitment to the "One China" principle would remain unwavering. Meanwhile, addressing Anwar's comments regarding Taiwan during a press conference in Beijing on Wednesday, Lin Jian reiterated that upholding the "One China" principle reflected the popular sentiment and was on the right side.

Lin emphasized that there is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is an inseparable part of China's territory, as reported by Xinhua.

In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, Anwar expressed his view that Taiwan is an integral part of China. "It is one China. Everyone accepts it," he said.
