Tuva Moflag ble innlagt med hjerneslag: – Jeg er ved godt mot

Politician Tuva Moflag was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with a brain hemorrhage, after returning from Arendal festival the previous day. In a statement to journalists, Moflag revealed she had been hospitalized at Ahus, where she received treatment for the bleeding in her brain. She expressed feeling well and optimistic, and informed that she will make a full recovery.

According to Moflag, the source of the hemorrhage was a congenital heart defect, which is a hole in the heart. She emphasized that her condition was not caused by her job or lifestyle. To prevent another incident, Moflag is scheduled for heart surgery during the autumn. In her statement, Moflag described the situation as both surprising and serious, but she remained confident and well-supported throughout the ordeal.

She thanked the staff at Ahus for their care. Moflag was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, and will now focus on returning to her daily routine. She will take 100 percent sick leave until September, after which she plans to gradually return to work as the financial spokesperson for the Labour Party. "I am grateful to my colleagues, who are holding things together while I am away," Moflag wrote.
