Tottenham goalkeeper Vicario joins Juventus on loan

Juventus has signed Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on a season-long loan deal, with the option for the Italian club to make it permanent at the end of the season, according to both parties. The 29-year-old Italian international, who joined Tottenham from Empoli in 2023, made 117 appearances for the north London side, netting 29 clean sheets.

Vicario was part of Spurs' team that clinched the Europa League in 2025, finally lifting a major trophy after a 17-year drought. Born in Italy, Vicario began his career at Udinese before moving to Venezia, Perugia, Cagliari and Empoli prior to his move to England. He received his first national team call-up from Italy in March 2024 and has since earned five caps for his country.
