Stray Kids says 9th Billboard 200 No. 1 is 'great honor'

K-pop boy band Stray Kids expressed deep honor on Tuesday for their ninth consecutive album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, calling it a significant milestone for the group and K-pop. Billboard previewed the chart on Sunday, stating that Stray Kids' 10th EP, "This & That," debuted at the top of the chart that week. The boy group now holds the second-most Billboard 200 No. 1 albums in history, behind The Beatles with 19 and tied with The Rolling Stones.

Stray Kids remarked that achieving their ninth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in their ninth year since debut felt almost destined. This achievement also made the group the record holder for the most No. 1 albums by a group in the 21st century, thanks to their EP "This & That," featuring eight tracks including the title track. The band described the EP as conveying a bold attitude and confidence to pursue one's desires without being constrained by convention.
