Stray Kids says 9th Billboard 200 No. 1 is 'great honor'

K-pop boy band Stray Kids expressed deep honor on Tuesday for their ninth consecutive album reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200, calling it a meaningful milestone for both the group and K-pop. Billboard previewed the chart on Sunday, confirming that Stray Kids' tenth EP, "This & That," claimed the top spot on the week of release.

The boy group now holds the second-most Billboard 200 No. 1 albums in history, trailing The Beatles with 19 and tied with The Rolling Stones. Stray Kids said achieving their ninth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in their ninth year since debut felt almost destined, as if nature had orchestrated their success. The group added this latest chart-topping achievement gave them the record for the most No. 1 albums by a group in the 21st century.

Their EP "This & That" includes eight tracks, with the title track being the standout piece. The band explained the EP conveys a bold attitude and confidence to pursue what they want without being constrained by tradition.
