Nollywood stars rally support for Ogogo after daughters’ plea over stage-four cancer

Nollywood stars have come together to support veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, known by his stage name, Ogogo, after his daughters made an emotional plea for medical assistance due to his battle with stage-four cancer. Actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo urged the public to assist the family in finding medical professionals and facilities capable of reviewing Hassan's medical records and providing treatment options.

He emphasized that the family was not seeking financial support but urgently needed medical direction. The public was encouraged to share the appeal until it reached individuals who could aid the actor. Actress Toyin Abraham also shared a video of Hassan's daughters on her Instagram page, requesting those who could help to contact them or her.

Hassan's daughters, Lima and Kira Taiwo, separately appealed on Instagram, stating that their father's condition had worsened and that hospitals had denied further treatment. The daughters clarified that they aimed to provide their father with another chance at life, rather than seeking financial assistance.
