Koretsky: It's important not to lose educational contact with children abroad

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky stressed the importance of preserving educational connections with Ukrainian children who have fled the country due to the war. He expressed hope that these children would continue their studies at home, receive a high-quality education, and have the opportunity to develop their skills and pursue their own paths in life.

Koretsky emphasized that it is crucial not to lose educational ties with the children who have temporarily left Ukraine, as he believes this connection helps maintain their Ukrainian identity and will eventually lead them back to their homeland. At a recent all-Ukrainian conference titled "Serpneva-2026 – Education is everyone's business," held in Kyiv, Koretsky noted that children residing abroad are gradually attending local schools and clubs, as well as competing for spots on foreign sports teams.

While acknowledging this reality, the prime minister stressed that maintaining this educational connection with Ukrainian children abroad is a vital goal for the nation.
