Indore Horror: Jealous, Driver Kills Wife For Talking To Other Men, Throws Children Into Village Pond

A shocking incident unfolded in a village near Indore, India, where a man allegedly murdered his wife out of jealousy over her alleged affair with other men. The horrific act took place in Jhalaria village under the jurisdiction of Kanadiya Police Station on Monday night. The victims, identified as 32-year-old Anita Bai and her two children, 8-year-old Mahi and 10-year-old Ajay, are now at the center of an intense investigation.

Sunil Chauhan, the accused, a 37-year-old driver, lived with his family in a rented house in Jhalaria village. His wife, Anita, originally from Kantaphod in Dewas district, had moved to the rented accommodation with Sunil and their family some time ago. According to preliminary reports, Sunil had a contentious relationship with his wife, often objecting to her interactions with other men. This led to a heated argument between the couple on Monday night, culminating in Sunil's violent actions.

During the altercation, Sunil is accused of strangling Anita and attacking her with a sharp-edged object. After killing his wife, Sunil took his two children—Mahi and Ajay—and threw them into a nearby village pond in a desperate attempt. Miraculously, 8-year-old Ajay managed to escape from the pond and alerted the authorities by reporting the incident to a patrolling First Response Vehicle (FRV) team. The police swiftly responded, deploying a search operation in the vicinity of Hingonia village.

Upon learning about Sunil's actions, SDRF teams initiated a search for the children. The team eventually recovered the body of 10-year-old Mahi from the pond. Sunil, after being apprehended in Jhalaria village, confessed to the police about the brutal attack on his wife and the tragic decision to throw his children into the water. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the events leading to this horrific incident.
