The latest Xbox and PC Game Pass game updates for August have been unveiled, with a special focus on new arrivals arriving in late August. Among the most anticipated additions is Asobo Studio's upcoming Plague Tale game, Resonance: A Plague Tale. This prequel tale, set across two timelines, takes players to the island of Crete. The reviewer found Resonance: A Plague Tale to be promising, highlighting its shift from stealth gameplay to a combat-focused experience.
The game also boasts stunning visuals, intricate puzzles, and awe-inspiring ruins, promising a Tomb Raider and Uncharted-like adventure.
Another day-one Game Pass release worth noting is Blood Dungeon, developed by the creator of the popular Nidhogg game. Blood Dungeon appears to be a Metroidvania-style game, reminiscent of the low-fi swashbuckling duel game Nidhogg. The game's release is another reason for fans to look forward to the month.
Furthermore, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Remastered edition will be added to Game Pass by the end of the month, providing players with an opportunity to experience the game in its enhanced version.
