Disney Parks' D23 keynote was packed — here's everything new coming to Disney World and Disneyland, including Piston Peak, Avengers Campus, and Villains Land

At the Disney Experiences panel during D23 2026, Disney unveiled numerous new attractions and expansions for their parks worldwide. The keynote focused on the progress made on multiple projects and hinted at some surprises. In Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, construction for Piston Peak, a Cars-themed area, and Villains Land is underway.

Nearby, Hollywood Studios is home to Monstropolis, while Animal Kingdom is building Tropical Americas. Across the coast at Disneyland, the expansion of Avengers Campus is in progress. The keynote presentation was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featured Disney Imagineering's leaders and Thomas Mazloum, head of Disney Experiences.

Among the highlights, Piston Peak topped the list for the Cars enthusiast. The main attraction, Cars: Ridge Run Rally, would feature off-road racing with unique vehicles for each participant. A new ride system would enhance the sense of bumps, dips, and other road elements during the race. Piston Peak would also include a variety of landscapes, including a snowy mountain and desert scenes, before ending with Lightning McQueen and Mater.

Monstropolis, another Cars-themed area, will open in 2027, featuring the Glob Theater show, Harryhausen's restaurant, Archie's Scare Pig Pizza, and the Door Coaster, which lifts riders 40 feet in 4 seconds. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the iconic door vault, as well as a live monster band and a Hollywood-style restaurant inspired by Monsters, Inc.

At Animal Kingdom, Tropical Americas introduced Indiana Jones and Encanto attractions. The Indiana Jones ride, titled Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, would use Harrison Ford's likeness as the Audio-Animatronic figure. The attraction would feature a new story, scenes, and animatronics compared to the Disneyland version.

Encanto would be called Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, taking place on Antonio's gift day, where guests would enter Casita and celebrate with the new animatronics of the house, as well as experience a rainforest-like atmosphere in Antonio's room.
