Johor Police detained four men, including one suspected Singaporean, for obstructing traffic police officers at a construction site near Sultan Iskandar's Building in Johor Bahru. According to Azrul Hisham Mohd Shaffei, the Southern Johor Bahru Police Chief, the incident took place on Sunday, and all the suspects aged between 25 and 46 were arrested between 12:15 PM and 1:45 AM on the same day.

Initial investigations revealed that the dispute was caused by a misunderstanding involving three local men and a male foreigner using a weapon. The foreign suspect later made a provocative gesture towards the BSI traffic police officer who was trying to calm the individual involved. Police also seized a balaclava and a knife from the suspects.

Records indicate that two of the suspects have 16 previous criminal and drug records. All suspects were remanded until tomorrow for further investigation under Section 148 of the Criminal Force Act for armed assault and Section 186 of the Criminal Force Act for obstructing public servants. Earlier, a video surfaced on social media showing a suspected Singaporean man provoking two traffic police officers near the construction site.
