롯데, 0-8로 뒤지다 7회에만 13득점…키움 상대 대역전극

At the seventh inning, 롯데 was trailing 0-8. The deficit was significant. However, late in the seventh inning, a defensive error presented an opportunity for 롯데 자이언츠. The team seized the chance and did not miss it. Including 한동희's multi-hit home run, they collected a total of 13 points. This is the second highest number of points scored in a single inning in KBO League history, tied with 2019's 사직 롯데 vs 한화 이글스 game where 한화 이글스 recorded 16 points in the third inning. 롯데 demonstrated strong concentration in the final moments of the game, securing a 15-10 victory over 키움 히어로즈 in their match on June 18.

In the early innings, 키움 pitchers, including 선발 비슬리가 and 추재현, hit home runs, putting pressure on 롯데. However, at the seventh inning, 타선 erupted. With a solo home run by 키움's 유격수 권혁빈 at first base, 손성빈's throw to third base turned a double play, advancing 황성빈 to second and setting up the decisive play. 롯데's continued hitting pressure pushed the score to 13-8.

Subsequent hits from 송성빈, 나승엽, 레이예스, and 한동희 further widened the gap to 13-8. 손성빈 contributed with a double, two singles, four home runs, and four RBIs. 한동희 went 5-for-5 with two singles and five RBIs. In the revised game, 시즌-high hitting performance was showcased by 정준재, who hit a double play-rubbing RBI in the revised inning, breaking the momentum of 키움's new pitcher 장찬희. 키움, unable to capitalize on a crucial opportunity at fourth base, failed to turn the tide of the game. 최형우, in the season's first 2700 hits, hit a home run (game 8) to boost the team, but ultimately resulted in a loss.

Kia (KIA) Tigers secured a 4-3 win over 한화 이글스 with 김도영's home run (season 36) and a strong offensive display. 선발 네일's performance included 6 innings, 5 hits, 3 strikeouts, 2 runs, and two home runs, earning him 9 wins and 5 losses for the season. Lastly, 엘지 트윈스 defeated 케이티(KT) with 문정빈's debut home run, ending a 4-game losing streak for 케이티. The outcome places 엘지 in fourth place, trailing 기아 by 7.5 games and 엘지 by 3 games.
