Woman stabbed to death by lover following argument over marriage, body stuffed in gunny bag

A 21-year-old woman named Rehena was found stabbed to death by her lover in Shaheen Nagar on Monday morning. The incident reportedly occurred after an argument about marriage at his residence. Rehena, a waiter originally from Patna, had been in a relationship with Shaik Ahemad, a water filter unit worker, for approximately a year.

Sources claim that Rehena repeatedly demanded that Ahemad marry her, leading to a heated altercation at his home around 4 a.m. The argument escalated, resulting in Ahemad allegedly stabbing Rehena with a knife, which ultimately caused her death at the scene. Following the murder, Ahemad and his mother, Ayesha, allegedly placed Rehena’s body in a gunny bag.

The distressing news reached the police via a 100 emergency call around 5:30 a.m., leading to the discovery of the body. A case has been registered at the Balapur police station, and authorities are currently conducting further investigations into the tragic events.
