Unite the region and deliver victory in 2028 – Dr. Bawumia to new Greater Accra NPP executives

Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, the newly elected Greater Accra New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, has been given his first crucial instruction by party flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia: to bring the region together and secure victory in the 2028 election. Following his election on Saturday August 15, 2026, Dr. Bawumia welcomed Dr. Okoe Boye and his entire executive team on a courtesy call on Sunday.

During the meeting, Dr. Bawumia cautioned against dismissing talents "at home or in the capital" and emphasized the importance of unity within the party. He stated, "There's a lot of work ahead of us. And we are going to do that work in unity. If we are united, I’m telling you, we will win 2028."

Dr. Bawumia also assured both the new executives and those who contested the election but couldn't participate on Saturday that he is prepared to collaborate warmly with all party members to achieve victory in 2028. Earlier, Dr. Okoe Boye had expressed his team's commitment to making Bawumia the President, reaffirming their dedication to the party's flagbearer.
