Titans sign 2, place Jaylen Harrell, Jaren Kanak on injured reserve

On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans had a day off before their upcoming training camp practice on Monday. During this time, the front office made some roster adjustments. In place of edge Jaylen Harrell, who suffered an ACL injury, and tight end Jaren Kanak, who had a pectoral injury, the Titans added tight end Matt Lauter and running back Dominic Richardson to their team.

Matt Lauter, the newly added tight end, had an undrafted rookie free agent stint with the Las Vegas Raiders after the 2026 NFL Draft. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 236 pounds, Lauter had a productive college career at Boise State, where he played 54 games, recorded 97 receptions for 1,146 yards, and scored 12 touchdowns.

Dominic Richardson, the newly added running back, also joined the Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. He came from a whirlwind college career that included stints at Oklahoma State, Baylor, and New Mexico. Richardson, who stands at 6 feet 0 inches and weighs 205 pounds, finished his college career with 57 games played, amassing 2,832 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground, and 72 receptions for 587 yards and one touchdown.

Both Matt Lauter and Dominic Richardson are expected to make their Titans debut on Monday during the team's preparation for the joint practice session with the Seattle Seahawks.
