Sunil Pal has been outspoken following the controversy surrounding his show, India's Got Latent, which premiered in 2025. He later appeared as a guest on Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, alongside Samay Raina. Subsequently, Sunil expressed his regret for participating in the show, claiming it was designed to humiliate him in front of the audience and was prearranged.
In May, Sunil made a guest appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Sunil recounted to Hindi Rush that Kapil invited him, and although he thought he would perform stand-up comedy, the show turned out to be a one-sided conversation with no opportunity for Sunil to act. Sunil felt the show was rigged, with Samay Raina being made a hero.
Sunil also criticized Samay's behavior, stating he did not feel heard but instead received respect, and Samay even touched his feet. Their relationship has been tense since then, with no reconciliation.
