Phuket's 16-year-old singer and guitarist, Nene Royal, will perform on the live stage of America's Got Talent (AGT) quarterfinals, with her live performance set to air in Thailand at 7am on August 26. Born Rattkan Amloy, the young artist gained recognition after performing The Cranberries' "Zombie" at the Dolby Theatre on her 16th birthday, receiving four yes votes from the judges and becoming the most-viewed audition video of the season.
Nene Royal will be among the 12 acts competing, with the live rounds running from August 18 to September 9 on NBC. The competition includes Golden Buzzer opportunities and audience voting, with six acts advancing to the semifinals and an additional finalist chosen by judges.
